I am a classically trained realist painter, living in New York City. For years, I focused on the traditional genres of still life, portraiture and landscapes, the majority of which was commissioned and sold privately.
In recent years, I have shifted to more imaginative, narrative work, inspired stylistically by artists such as Degas and Klimt, along with countless European masters from the Renaissance to the present day. Philosophically, I am influenced by animism, mythology of many traditions, and human ideals that have formulated over millenia.
